If you require urgent medical attention when the Surgery is closed, please telephone our medical answering service by dialing 111, who will direct your call appropriately.

A doctor will be available to give you advice or to invite you to go to the local primary care treatment centre. If clinically necessary the information will be passed to a duty doctor who will contact you.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the Surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
